Terms of service

Effective 2026-08-22. Operated by FeedAtom.

These terms are the agreement between you and FeedAtom for your use of FeedAtom. Using the service means you accept them.

Who you are dealing with

FeedAtom is operated by FeedAtom, contactable at PLACEHOLDER - postal address not yet set. Write to us at [email protected] about anything in this document.

What the service is

FeedAtom sends you a ranked news digest on a schedule you choose, and lets you read those stories on the site. Each item carries the publisher's own headline, a short verbatim extract from their reporting, the name of the source, and a link. We select, group and rank reporting published by others; we do not employ reporters, we do not gather news at first hand, and we do not guarantee that any story is accurate, complete or current.

What is decided by machine

Automated systems, including artificial intelligence, do the selecting: they read published articles, group the ones covering the same event, decide which stories rank highest, and choose which extract from an article is shown to you. Those systems make mistakes, and an extract read apart from the article it came from can mislead. Read the linked source before relying on anything, and before repeating or acting on it. Where we show a story in a language other than the one it was published in, that translation was produced by a machine and is labelled as such.

Your account

You need an account to receive digests. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at [email protected] if you think somebody else has access. You may close your account at any time, and we may close an account that breaks these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the service, attempt to break its security or rate limits, use it to send anything unlawful, or use automated means to create accounts. Do not use FeedAtom to build a competing product out of our ranking output.

Stories, summaries and attribution

A digest carries a headline, a short summary and a link, always with the source named. We never send the full text of an article: the publisher owns it, and the link is how you read it. Copyright in the underlying reporting stays with its publisher. If you are a publisher and want a source removed, write to [email protected] and we will act.

Subscription and payment

Your first month is free and is applied automatically when you finish setting up. No payment method is collected at signup and nothing is charged today. When paid billing opens we will tell you before any charge, and you will be able to decline. If a subscription lapses, your account moves to the free tier rather than stopping: a shorter digest, by email.

Availability and changes

We aim to send every digest on time, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will tell you first.

Limits of our liability

FeedAtom is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or data, or for any decision you take on the strength of a story we surfaced. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top always says which version is in force, and we will post a change here before it takes effect. Continuing to use FeedAtom after that date means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
