UPI MDR row: NCP (SP) demands rollback of 0.4% charge, calls it ‘assault’ on small traders

The NCP (SP) on Monday demanded a complete rollback of the 0.4% Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) on specified UPI merchant transactions above Rs 2,000, calling the move a “direct assault” on small traders and shopkeepers.
